This allows you to Texas Rig a traditional ned bait or other soft plastics enabling you to entice bass with a different finesse presentation. The ability to Texas rig your plastics makes it easier to fish around heavy cover without the potential of getting snagged every time.

Love these ned rig hooks! 1st time out with them caught 6 bass and 3 crappie in 2 hrs of fishing. I had been using the Z-man bulletz, which is a small, weighted EWG but the onecast hooks have a wider gap which makes hookups much easier. These catch fish like a traditional Ned Rig with a most exposed hook, but are weedless! Most of the time only a minor adjustment is needed after catching a fish. I was worried about the flat jig head since my local pond has a muck bottom, but these swim well and can surprisingly hold up through a lilly pads. I had gotten used to losing those Z-man bulletz in these conditions, but don't need to worry about that anymore and just focus on catching fish!
